And as if my vote really counts if I am :)

Really, watching the american presidential decate is interesting, especially, in my opinion of course, the candidates are so different, not in terms of colors, but in terms of consistencies.

McCain is a big old veteran whinner, enough said. and i can see that he’s simply failing to be consistent. Simple example, all of a sudden, he is all for geothermal, wind power, and so on, while in the previous two debates, he seems didn’t care to respond on Obama’s alegation that he oppose green energy in favor of good ol’ diminishing fossil energy. Then within minutes after, he said again, he wants to do off shore drilling now !!

McCain’s speech was always dried out with whining about how Obama never repudiate on negative campaign towards him, well, come on old man, it’s presidential campain for cry sake… You said you are a patriot, going through lots of war, but then you cry like 5 years old, telling your parents that naughty Obama calling your name… bwahahaha…

I know that who will be US president will make too little different to my daily life anyway, but watching the process is fun. Obama might not be 100% winner, he also has too many flaws, but he’s consistent, systematic, and clear about many fundamental concepts, unlike McCain who is apparently a puppet mastered by his campaign managers, make him look like a foot soldier rather than a leading general. And McCain is too old, that is a bad thing IMHO, and the fact that he’s admitedly said that he’s computer illiterate, is a major minus points. Let’s imagine, a country that is a leader in innovation and science, able to send human to the outer space, lead by an old president who can barely find a PC’s power switch… that is baaaaaad…

Anyway, I could only wish that at least one of presidential candidates in my country could be as systematic and conceptually clear like Obama, regardless whether or not they fulfill their campaign promises, because honestly, all of my country’s presidential candidates are all McCain-ish, and that is baaaaaaaadddd :)

I took off to Bandung this morning and back in the afternoon to Jakarta. It was just ordinary 3 hours drive back and forth, but this time, driving back was the not so ordinary one.

Somewhere around 90 kilometers from Jakarta, I noticed that 2 litres German engine start to sound louder and strange. I suspect something happened with the exhaust piping, and do a little inspection at nearest rest area. I saw nothing suspicious except a thin line across one of pipe segment, which i thought was a speck of oil and dirt.

The sound gets louder and louder, and when i finally stop the engine at home, i reinspect the exhaust piping, and as you can see, i manage to break it big time !!

I drove my wife to the office this morning and as expected, it only took 30 minutes from the usual one hour. It will be like this for a week, due to Eid day next Wednesday, woo hoo, yeah !!…

It felt a bit eerie though … it’s 9 am in the morning and the car ahead was 30 meters away, in a road usually jam packed with bumper to bumper traffic since 7 am.

Yeah I know, it’s still in very early stage of development :) but I kinda like the picture taken from USG, so i will just flaunt it a bit…
